Two people where arrested following a traffic stop in Osage Beach. According to a release from the Camden County Sheriff’s office, the Camden County Street Crimes Unit attempted to make a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 54 at Passover Road yesterday afternoon when the vehicle in question attempted a high speed chase that lasted only a mile. Deputies on hand arrested the driver 48 year old Sheila Patterson Bacon of Osage Beach and her passenger, 30 year old mark Thomas Bruska of Camdenton. During a search of the vehicle deputies discovered a 0.25 caliber pistol and methamphetamine. Bacon was arrested and charged with a probation warrant, felony resisting arrest, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and felon in possession of a firearm while Bruska was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He also had a warrant for his arrest for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine out of Camden County. Both are currently being held at the Camden County adult detention facility with no bond.
