Kander Stops Investment Scheme In The Ozarks

Secretary of state Jason Kander announced yesterday that he’s closing the doors of a real estate investment scheme in the Ozarks. According to a release, Secretary Kander says that Renee Goodman and her company Investment Midwest took at least $635,000.00 from investors while promising quick above market returns from the proceeds of various consumer mainstays such as area automobile lubrication shops and local restaurants. Upon further investigation is was discovered that Goodman was not even registered to sell investments in the state and she was commingled investors money with person funds by withdrawing $400,000 in cash and spending the remainder of it on a variety of person expenses. Kander has banned both Goodman and Investment Midwest from continuing their operations in the community and is beginning the process to recover the lost investor’s money while looking at possible penalties.
