Calvin e. Kyles was arraigned in Camden County Circuit Court on Monday and plead not guilty to the stabbing murder of 28-year-old Danielle Bell in May. Kyles is charged with murder and armed criminal action as a prior and persistent offender. Kyles has a criminal history out of the St. Louis area that includes assault, burglary, robbery and armed criminal action. Back on May 18, Camdenton officers responded to a residence on Lakeview drive on the west end of Camdenton to assist a woman who had suffered stab wounds. Bell was transported by ambulance to a location suitable for a helicopter landing, but died before the transfer could be complete. Kyles was taken into custody after local police issued a statewide bulletin for him. Kyles is from the St. Louis area but lived in the Lake area for about a year before being arrested for bell’s murder. Bell and Kyles were married at the time of the stabbing.
