Lake Ozark Alderman Browning Resigns

betsey browningA recently elected Alderman in the city of Lake Ozark has stepped down. Betsey Browning was elected Alderman in 2013 but has since moved out of the Ward 3 area and therefore can not continue as an Alderman. Lake Ozark Mayor Johnny Franzeskos accepted Browning’s resignation Wednesday morning and he has begun the process of looking for someone to take over her position until the next election, providing the board approves his appointment. This comes on the heels of the Police Chief Mark Maples and City Inspector Charlie Misenheimer who both submitted their resignations earlier this year. Misenheimer is moving to the Fire Department while Maples is going into a private venture.
