Lake Ozark Residents May Notice Their Water Tastes Differently

Residents in the City of Lake Ozark may notice their water tastes differently.  City Officials say some water customers may notice a change in the taste of their water for about a week beginning tomorrow. The change is due to receiving water from the City of Osage Beach while the south tower is being cleaned.  The reason for the change in taste is because Osage Beach adds fluoride and chlorinates its water.  The city is reporting there should not be any interruption in service while the tower is being cleaned.
