Communities across the Ozarks are coming together to stop the recent rash of burglaries throughout the lake area. The program called Community on Patrol are urging residents to put signs in their yards and drive the roads looking for criminals who have burglarized homes on several routes between Camden and Laclede counties over the past several years. The group currently consists of twenty residents, and a lieutenant colonel from Fort Leonard Wood leading the effort. Multiple police departments are also working with the residents involved.
