Missouri Lawmakers approved a bill that would require a 3-day waiting period before having an abortion. Erma Moncoff executive director of the pregnancy help center in Camdenton says this gives woman an opportunity to think about their decision:

Opposers say the longer waiting period would push woman further into pregnancy, which can increase risks. The bill will now move on to Governor jay Nixon for final approval.
