Mayors Attend Hearing On FLW Cuts

FortLeonardWoodThe Mayor of Richland was among a number of area officials that attended a hearing on Monday regarding possible job cuts at Fort Leonard Wood. Richland Mayor Lucy Henson joined a number of local leaders including the Mayors of Waynesville, St. Robert, Crocker and Dixon for a hearing of the Missouri House Interim Committee on military impact and sustainability that was held in St. Robert. Many believe the proposed cutbacks at the military base would be devastating to the area’s economy. The Army estimates the base could lose more than five thousand civilian and military positions by 2020 if the proposed cuts are approved.

There always will be such areas that must be donated and the reductions will destroy the whole process. As I can see the main questions now are about military and education. And now only the government can solve this problems, because it’s not up to the ordinary people. The only way to have some money is to check the opportunities offered. In such way you can just be more independent from the government and banks. You can take quick extra money for any needs.
