A man convicted of killing a southeast Missouri couple in 1993 has been executed. 57 year old William Rousan was put to death just after midnight. Governor Jay Nixon denied Rousan clemency yesterday and the U.S. Supreme Court also turned down a request to delay the execution. Missouri has executed one death row inmate a month since November. Another inmate, Russell Bucklew is scheduled to be put to death on May 21. Only Texas with seven executions has put to death more inmates than Missouri so far in 2014.
