The State of Missouri will move forward with its next execution. A three judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court has refused to overturn a stay of execution for Missouri inmate John Winfield. Winfield is scheduled to die at 12:01am Wednesday for killing two St. Louis women in 1996. There have been no executions since April, when Clayton Lockett died of a heart attack during a botched execution, and Russell Bucklew was granted a stay of execution due to his medical condition.
