MOVETS Opens New Facility For Veterans

missouri veterans commissionThe Missouri Veteran’s Commission has opened a new location at the Lake of the Ozarks. Originally Veterans had to choose between driving to Eldon or Lebanon, but now the commission has opened a new location in Osage Beach. According to Daniel Bell, the public information officer for the M.V.C., they closed the Eldon location and relocated to the Osage Beach city hall under a lease with the city to make it easier for Veterans in the lake area to find out what benefits they are entitled to but may not be getting. Bell says the service officer Gerry Hodge is in charge and you don’t need to setup an appointment to see him

The service officer will be at the new location Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm and Veterans are asked to call 573-348-2641 for more details or visit the MO Vets Commission at
