No Wake On Main Channel

Missouri-State-Highway-PatrolThe State Highway Patrol is among several agencies both locally and Statewide that are involved in the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. The Highway Patrol’s Water Division is not only the issuer of the permits to run the event, but they’re in charge of keeping the waters calm. Corporal Stacey Mosher says the most important thing for any visitors attending Shootout this year to remember is to pay attention to the no wake zone setup on the race course

Mosher says the no wake zone will be between the 31 mile marker and just past the Hurricane Deck bridge and will start 30 minutes before and after the event, each day. Boaters are asked to keep it idle speed when entering and leaving the docking areas.
