This is a busy time for officials with the Missouri Department of Conservation. Agent Derek Warnke with the M.D.C.’s Camdenton office says one of the issues confronting them during the summer months deals with non-resident fishing permits.

Warnke says yearly non-resident permits cost $42 dollars and daily permits are seven dollars, and can be purchased at several locations including Wal-Mart, sporting goods stores and gas stations.
