Norquist Making Strops Accross Missouri

Anti-Tax Crusader Grover Norquist is making stops across the State in support of an income tax cut passed by the republican led legislature. The proposed tax cut has business and education groups squaring off and Governor Jay Nixon has indicated he will likely veto the legislation. A coalition of elementary and secondary education groups say the proposed measure could lead to a future reduction in school funding while business leaders believe it could boost the economy and increase school funding at the same time. If the governor does in fact veto the legislation, lawmakers say they will try and override it.
