While the construction of the new lodge at Old Kinderhook continues, at Tuesday’s Camden County Commission meeting, Commissioners discussed two issues they had. Old Kinderhook had still owed around $44,000 dollars in impact fees and according to Third District Commissioner Cliff Luber they also didn’t have a building permit:

Following this week’s meeting, representatives from Old Kinderhook made a connection with the Commission and cut the check for the money owed. Officials say there was a communication error due to the former Planning and Zoning Administrator leaving during the process. Construction is set to continue with hopes of completing the project in January.
