As part of the study done on Osage Beach Parkway’s West side, the Osage Beach Board of Aldermen will be looking at landscaping and future sidewalk designs to make the west side look more appealing. During Thursday’s meeting, the board discussed possibly making adjustments to the recently constructed sidewalks. Alderman Phyllis Marose says she’s had numerous complaints about the “bump” coming out of businesses, particularly when leaving the post office. The board discussed possibly removing those bumps. Public Works Director Nick Edelman says that those bumps are there to prevent rain runoff from damaging those parking lots, as well as side roads. The board agreed to take it under consideration when they review their plans for the sidewalks and landscaping.
