After heavy rains in August 2013 caused severe flood damage to the Osage Beach City Park parts of the park are finally starting to reopen and repairs are progressing. The use of the pond, the pavilion by the pond, the damaged parking lot, and access to the lake will not be opened for some time as construction and cleanup will begin this summer. But as of this week baseball fields #1 and #3, as well as the playground and all soccer fields have been reopened. The three-phase restoration project is expected to be complete sometime in 2015 with the next steps including dam repair, pond rehab, baseball field #2 rehab, and culvert reconstruction. The final part of the restoration will be the filling and stocking of the park pond.
