The Camden County Planning and Zoning Commission will reopen a controversial zoning case dealing with property owned by Gary Prewitt when it meets Wednesday. Earlier this year, the Commission had recommended approving plans for the tract on bittersweet road in the horseshoe bend area. However, over 100 letters from residents against the project were not considered as they had come in after the deadline. The commission was told that many residents had not been made aware of the issue in time to get a letter in or attend the hearing. The tract under consideration is currently in the initial zoning process after mistakenly going unzoned for years. Tonight’s meeting starts at 5:30 at the Camden County Courthouse in Camdenton.
