Overhead sign installation is one of several highway projects taking place this week across the lake area. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation installation of an overhead sign at route 54 and Key Largo road begins Monday in Camden County while roadway maintenance is taking place at route “AA” between 54 and the end of state maintenance. Also, roadside maintenance is being done on route 54 at route “Y” and roadway resurfacing is taking place on route 7 from route 5 near Climax Springs to route 65 in Benton County. Also, guardrail repair will take place on Wednesday on route 5 just south of Hurricane Deck Bridge. In Miller County roadside maintenance begins Monday on route “Y” between 52 and the end of state maintenance as well as on route “K” between 17 and Spruce drive and also at route “E” between 52 and the end of state maintenance. In Morgan County roadway maintenance is taking place on route “T” between route 135 and 52 and also on route “BB” between 135 and route “D”. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic thru each of the work areas.
