Sewer line extension feasibility study set for Camelot Estates

Approved LOCLG logo

The Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments has been awarded a $113,800 grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to conduct a sewer line extension feasibility study in the area known as the Camelot Estates Sewer District. This planning activity will be used to develop and identify current infrastructure, recommend suitable locations for potential long-term investments and improve water quality in the region. A proposed expansion has the potential to lower the monthly rates currently paid by the users of the Camelot Estates facility, as well as reduce the number of permitted outflow points and number of structures using on-site wastewater systems in the area. Contributing partners in this collaborative effort include Camden County Health Department, Camden County Assessor, Camden County Wastewater Department, Camden County Sewer Board, Missouri Spatial Data Information Services and the Missouri Association of Council of Governments.
