Hot Topics for 411! August 9th-13th!

August 9th- Vicki talks about the book Jon Hansen and the Dragon Clan of Yden written by S.G. Rogers who will be on the show today.  The book is about summer ultimate destination. While millions of people are sitting in dreary offices or homes just daydreaming  about what their life could be, you could be in Yden living your fantasies.  It's a place where beautiful warrior princesses fall in love with nerds.. a place where adventures happen every day and place where you can discover your destiny.

August 12th-Vicki will be have Chris Wagner talking about 100 years of boy scouts. Chris from the Butcher Shop on light fare for hot dogs!

August 13th-Vicki will be talking to Billye  Bennett about the Trim Kids Program athe Lake Regional Hospital.  An informational meeting is sheduled 6 p.m. Thrusday, August 26th at the hospital. The program will be held each Thrusday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 2nd and ending Nov. 18th.  Sessions will be held in Lake Regional Hospital's third floor conference rooms.  Resgister using the from below. 7/28/10  Today Vicki will be talking about Wendy's new salads.  There are four new salads: Apple Pecan Chicken Salad, Baja Salad, Spicy Chicken, Ceasar Sald and BLT Cobb Salad. With all the fixings, they range from 580 calories 27g of fat for the Apple Pecan Chicken Salads.

Hot Topics for 411! July 19th through 23rd

Missouri Wine Festival is from Saturday, August 7th 2-6pm at the Country Club Hotel and Spa. It 15 per person Included testing from all wineries and a souvenir glass plus select restaurants and vendors.

Lake of the Ozarks shootout is going to be August 23rd to 29th. The boating events are happening at Captain Ron's. It the 21st Anniversary  event for the shootout. So come and see the boats go about 196mph it will be awesome. There will be about 8,ooo boats lined up for the two-day races.

The Farm Fest is August 27,28th 2010 and the gates open at 3:00pm Friday. The Farm Fest is to help benifit Farm Animal rescue and to help feed the animals. There will be 5 bands Friday night. 7 plus bands Saturday night and all together have 12 great bands. Its 20 dollars in advance or  25 dollars at the gate(one night). If you want a two day pass they cost 40 dollars in advance or 45 dollars at the gate.  The Farm Fest is located at leather Roost Farms South of Climax Springs Mo.
