State lawmakers have passed a resolution encouraging President Barack Obama to approve a proposed oil pipeline route thru mid America. The senate approved the measure yesterday endorsing the Keystone X.L. Pipeline. Obama told a group of governors earlier this year that he expects to make a decision on the project’s future in the next couple months. The resolution also encourages the U.S. to drill for oil off the northern coast of Alaska. Missouri U.S. Senators Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt along with Governor Jay Nixon have all come out in favor of the Keystone Pipeline Project.
