New details have emerged that the city of Warsaw sued the engineering firm it hired to design the renovations to the Joe Dice Swinging Bridge. According to a recent report, the city filed a lawsuit against Delich, Roth and Goodwillie P.A. on January 14th 2013. Warsaw had hired the firm back in 2003 to create the design for the renovations and apparently the issue the lawsuit raised was fully resolved before going to court. Since the issue was resolved, the lawsuit’s terms and provisions where docked as confidential and not released to the public. The city is hoping they can finish the construction and reopen the bridge to the public by the end of this year.
