Animal control and law enforcement have helped to reunite an owner with his dogs that fell thru the ice in Camden County.  The Sheriff’s Department received a call yesterday that two dogs had fallen through the ice in the 11-hundred block of Grandview Lane.  Rescuers found one dog had already made it safely to shore while the other one was seen still struggling about twenty feet from the shoreline.  Officers then broke the ice and helped the dog from the water.  It was immediately taken to a local animal hospital for treatment.  “Man’s best friend” was then reunited with its grateful owner.
