Voters in the Warsaw R-9 School District will go to the polls next month to decide the fate of an $8-million dollar bond issue. If approved the funds would allow the District to construct a F.E.M.A. safe room along with a performing arts center, and also make improvements to South School. The largest part of the project is the safe room which will be funded in part by a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. However, District officials say money from bonds will be necessary to complete the project. Voters go the polls April 8th to decide the outcome of the bond issue.
