At the most recent meeting of the Warsaw Board of Aldermen, Alderman Mark Miller announced to the board that on October the 4th the city will have a youth hunt night for Canadian Geese which have become overpopulated in the community. A safety seminar will occur before any shooting takes place but the Aldermen believe it will be a great bonding experience for the youth in the community. The Aldermen also approved a resolution between the city and Foley equipment to lease a cat skid steer along with an ordinance to contract with Cook Flatt and Strobel engineers to study needs and costs to improve the city’s sewer system. Finally the board revoked the license of a local business owner for lack of renewal. The next meeting of the Warsaw board of aldermen will be Monday August 18th and starts at 7pm.
