Former Camden County Deputy Leonard Wilson is scheduled to be arraigned today on one of two cases alleging sex-related crimes involving juvenile females. The charges, which date back to April of last year, include two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of child molestation…all felonies. The arraignment was delayed last month after Wilson had suffered an apparent stroke in South Carolina and was then transported back to Missouri by federal authorities today’s hearing is to take place in Laclede County to accommodate Judge Larry Winfrey’s schedule. Wilson also faces felony sex-related charges in a separate Camden County case and in a federal indictment alleging that he possessed child pornography.
