State Fair Community College is getting a boost from the Genuine County Music Association.
Members of the GCMA presented a check for $13,000 the school’s foundation to help fund local scholarships at the Lake of the Ozarks campus.
The money was raised at the eighth annual Classic Country Jamboree back in October.
SFCC President Dr. Joanna Anderson says the donations help make college a reality for students in the Lake area and she’s “extremely grateful” for their support.
Over the past few years, the annual GCMA event has raised more than $100,000 for lake scholarships.
