3 People Hospitalized And 3 Arrested In Numerous Boating Incidents Over The Weekend

Three boating accidents over the weekend send 3 people to the hospital.

According to the Highway Patrol’s Water Division, the first accident happened at the 26 ½ mile mark of the Osage Arm, when 26-year-old Annalisa Lanotte of Illinois struck the railing in a 2014 Regal after hitting a large wake.

The second happened at the 23-mile mark of the Main Channel when 33-year-old Kara Parks of St. Louis fell out of her seat in a 1992 Regal, injuring her back.

And the third accident happened at the 34 ½ mile mark of the Main channel, when 64-year-old Mitchell Goad of St. Louis fell from his boat after attempting to climb back in while taking a swim.

The Patrol also issued 3 BWI’s over the weekend, they include 43-year-old Matthew Knight of Illinois, 39-year-old Panagiotis Georgiou of Kentucky and 33-year-old Andrew Christmas of O’Fallon Missouri.
