Twenty-three-year old Joshua Maylee is jailed in Callaway County after contacting the Cooper County Sheriff’s Department.
Maylee is a suspect in shooting deaths of 46-year old Jeffrey Werdehausen, 48-year old Eugene Allen Pinet and 57-year old Jackie Lee Pinet. The victims were found at two different crime scenes in Holts Summit on Wednesday.
A statewide manhunt ended Thursday at 1:30 when Cooper County deputies took Maylee into custody at a residence off Highway 179 in Cooper County. According to authorities, Maylee contacted the sheriff’s department and told them he had hand and foot injuries.
The suspect will be questioned and charges could be filed as early as today.
