The man suspected in the deaths of three Holts Summit residents on Wednesday has been charged with murder.
Twenty-three-year old Josh Maylee has been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of first degree assault after being arrested Thursday afternoon in Cooper County.
Forty-six-year old Jeffrey Werdehausen, 58-year old Eugene Pinet and 57-year old Jackie Pinet were found dead from gunshot wounds at two separate crime scenes on Wednesday morning. 41-year old Gina Werdehausen survived and was taken to University Hospital.
Authorities have not released many details but they have said Maylee knew the victims, he had conflicts with them, and all five had connections to an earlier burglary charge against Maylee involving a lawnmower.
