Seven people face felony drug charges after a raid in Miller County. Sheriff Louie Gregoire says deputies and members of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed the search warrant during the evening hours on Thursday at a residence in Mount Pleasant. A large amount of suspected methamphetamine was discovered along with heroin, cocaine, prescription pills, a stolen motorcycle, marijuana and an illegal handgun were, allegedly, discovered during the search. Taken into custody were: Nathanael Davis, of Versailles, and Katie Croswhite, of Jefferson City. They are both charged with a class-A felony for first-degree trafficking, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. Davis is also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. Reyne Bachtel, Justin Vaught, Kenneth Davenport and Randy Engelage, all from Eldon, are each charged with possession of a controlled substance. The seventh person, reportedly, taken into custody is not identified on the press release from the sheriff’s department.
