Tuesday (19) was the final day to file to run for a position on a Board of Alderman’s seat and for school boards.
In Osage Beach, for Ward Two Alderman, incumbent Phyllis Marose will run against Nancy Viselli. For city collector, incumbent John Berry and Gloria O’Keefe have filed. There also is a race for Mayor. Incumbent Penny Lyons will go up against Alderman John Olivarri.
In Camdenton, there is only one contested race. That is for Alderman in Ward Two, between incumbent Sandy Gentry and Brenda Oshel Weir.
In Lake Ozark, in Ward Two for a two-year term, Incumbent Lawrence L. Buchost will run against Viper Communicatons Owner Dennis Klautzer. In Ward Three for a one-year term, Vernon H. Jaycox goes up against Jennifer Van Donsel-Santoyo. Her father, Jeff Van Donsel took over the position after Mark Maples stepped aside last year.
In Laurie, Incumbent Mayor Scott Farr is opposed by Allan Kimberling. In Ward One for a two-year term, incumbent Greg Lux will go against Jeff Chorpening and in Ward Two, Don Stanze and Herb Keck have filed. There is a one-year term in Ward One up for grabs between Pete Fox and Carol Gill to fill out the remainder of Val Ites term.
There are no contested races in Linn Creek or Sunrise Beach…
