Final preparations are in high gear in Lake Ozark for this weekend marking the 50th year since the city attained fourth-class status. The city is teaming up with the Bagnell Dam Strip Association with several activities planned for the two-day celebration. Among the activities, according to Mayor Johnny Franzeskos, is a time capsule ceremony.
The time capsule ceremony, at City Hall, begins at 10-oclock Saturday morning. Other activities for the two-day event include live music and the Lake Ozark Dance Company re-living the 60’s era and another evening of Hot Summer Nights which will officially kick off the celebration on Friday night
