A reported domestic assault at a strip club in Lake Ozark leads to the arrest of a Fort Collins, Colorado, man and the recovery of a stolen vehicle. According to a probable cause statement, the sequence of events started over the weekend when a resident on Willow Ridge Road, in Lake Ozark, reported that he had left his keys in his unlocked Toyota 4-Runner which was taken during the overnight hours. A subsequent call to the domestic at Gentleman’s Quarters on Bagnell Dam Boulevard resulted in David Kissee being identified as the suspect…Kissee took off in the woods and a multi-agency search including two K-9’s and a helicopter was unsuccessful. The investigation revealed that Kissee may have been heading to Branson for work. Branson police were contacted and responded to a hotel where Kissee had apparently been staying and discovered the stolen 4-Runner. Both Kissee and a woman with him identified as the victim of the domestic in Lake Ozark were questioned. He told officers she had nothing to do with the vehicle and claimed that he had bought it for $500 before asking about “joy riding” laws in Missouri. Kissee was booked into the Taney County Jail and awaits extradition to Camden County where bond is set at $50-thousand. Kissee has a history of illegal drugs, burglary and stealing with at least four active warrants out of Colorado, Arkansas and North Dakota.
