A piece of the World Trade Center is now available for public viewing at the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District. The fire district had a dedication ceremony Sunday morning for the piece of twisted metal which is the first piece to be displayed in the lake area. Fire Chief Mark Amsinger.
The stone beneath the steel beam says “This memorial stands to remember the 343 of our brothers from the Fire Department of New York and all lives lost on September 11th, 2001. We will never forget.”
Chief Amsinger says the memorial is a reminder.
Several photos inside the fire headquarters on Bagnell Dam Boulevard also provide reminders for the public who come to view the memorial.
