A bill outlawing powdered Alcohol has just passed the state house in Missouri. House members voted 95-56 on Thursday (31) to ban the sale and possession of powdered alcohol in the state of Missouri. Marketed as Palcohol, powdered alcohol can be mixed with water or other liquids to make an alcoholic beverage. Violations would be considered a misdemeanor offence.
Palcohol is not yet available on the market, but has been approved in 2015 by the U.S. Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. Dozens of other states have banned the substance preemptively.
