Missouri Water Patrol responded Sunday afternoon at 4:35, to an injury caused by a boating accident on Lake of the Ozarks. The busy water created larger than normal wakes that caused moderate injuries to an occupant in a boat. The boat was driven by 31 year old Cyrus Riahi of Kansas City, Kansas. He was traveling at the 21.1 Mile Marker on the Osage arm when he struck a large wave causing the occupant, a 61 year old female Diana Riahi of Lenexa, Kansas to be thrown in the air and impacting the vessel. Diana Riahi was transported to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
