A traffic stop in Lake Ozark has resulted in a drug charge against an Ozark man. Reuban Ledon Boles has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after being stopped Monday on Bagnell Dam Boulevard. Police had initially pulled boles over for not having a license plate on the front of his vehicle. Police then detected the smell of marijuana and asked the suspect to exit the vehicle. Boles refused, attempted to hit the officer and then took off running. Police apprehended the suspect and after a search of the area also found several baggies allegedly containing methamphetamine. A small bag of marijuana was also found in the suspect’s car. Boles has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
