Another delay in case against 24-year-old Aaron Fisher of Brumley. He was the first person charged with forcible sodomy under a state law that went into effect just before he was arrested in 2009, accused of sexually abusing and beating is then- five-month-old daughter. His trial was scheduled to start this week in Miller County, but has been postponed. A new trial date has not been set yet. If convicted, Fisher faces a mandatory life-in-prison sentence with no possibility of probation or parole for at least 30 years.
