Aaron Michael Fisher, formerly of Brumley, may not face a charge for raping his infant daughter in 2009, despite admitting to it, but he is scheduled to be in court, in Miller County, this morning. The rape charge was dismissed and upheld by the Court of Appeals because of a violation of his right to a speedy trial. Since then, however, the 28-year-old Fisher has been charged with first-degree assault, a class-A felony with a $100-thousand bond and a GPS order, for the same incident before being picked up last week in Ohio. During the appearance, on today, Associate Circuit Judge Jon Kaltenbronn will consider motions filed on behalf of Fisher requesting a bond reduction and a change of venue.
