A Liberty man accused of peddling drugs in the Lake Area is scheduled to be in a Miller County courtroom on Monday. Darren Jameson is charged with second-degree trafficking drugs and delivery of a controlled substance. Jameson was taken into custody outside of Eldon back in December when deputies were investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle. At that time, a large amount of meth was, allegedly, discovered in Jameson’s possession. At the time, Jameson had also been wanted on several Clay County warrants. Monday’s (today’s) hearing is a case review for Jameson who is currently in the custody of the department of corrections.
