Accused kidnapper John Williams, of Camdenton, will have his day in court, but the courtroom will be in Waynesville. Williams was arrested in July 2011 and charged with five felonies which include: kidnapping, felonious restraint, armed criminal action second-degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon. This is an interesting turn of events in a case that has had six different judges and now a change of venue to Pulaski County. The change of venue request filed by Williams’ attorney earlier this year and was finally granted by the sixth judge to preside over the case in the pretrial phase which has been ongoing since July.
