Mail allegedly being confiscated by Morgan County Jail officials leads to a lawsuit. The five-page suit was filed last week by the American Civil Liberties Union and says that people who send mail to inmates are not told that it is being confiscated. The ACLU says this is a violation of the constitutional rights of those sending the mail. The action was filed by the ACLU for an Oregon resident who sends mail on a regular basis to an inmate. There has been no comment at this time from officials at the Morgan County Detention Center.
