Additional Charges Are Pending In Saturday’s Standoff With Police

More charges are expected to be announced against a man already accused of first-degree domestic assault.

It happened Saturday morning in Rocky Mount when police from all over the Lake Area responded to a 911 call about a man threatening to kill a woman.

Police did find a 71-year-old woman who was unresponsive and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The Missouri Highway Patrol SWAT Team was called in to apprehend 57-year-old Terry Ewen.

Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire.

He tells KRMS News a 51-year-old woman who escaped the home during a standoff was dating Ewen.

An 82-year-old man was injured before the SWAT Team entered the house and took Ewen into custody.
