Adkison Back In Court Tuesday

The Boone County man who led authorities on a manhunt across the Lake Area in 2013 was back in court again this week. Brian Adkison was found not guilty last week on a burglary charge and a mistrial was declared on charges of rape and deviate sexual assault after the jury could not reach a verdict. Adkison was then back in court yesterday (Tuesday) for a pre-trial conference and faces charges of kidnapping, domestic assault and violation of a protection order. The case was moved from Caldwell County to Livingston County on a change of venue. Adkison’s trial is scheduled to begin February 5^th. He still faces charges in several other counties including the Lake Area.
