Whether or not victim testimony can be used will be the main focus of a court hearing, Monday, in the case of a former Camdenton man. Joseph Tonnies is charged with first-degree statutory sodomy-deviate sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 14. The charges date back to an incident which, allegedly, happened back in June of 2016. Camden County Prosecuting Attorney Heather Miller filed the motion earlier this month requesting the hearing to decide whether the victim testimony can be used. Circuit Judge Kenneth Hayden is presiding over the case which is being heard in Laclede County on a change of venue. Tonnies remains free after posting a $30-thousand cash bond.
