Missouri’s Republican Attorney General is leading the race for U.S. Senate over his democrat opponent by 11 points in a just released poll.

The Hill says the Emerson College Polling-Hill Survey of likely Missouri voters shows Eric Schmitt would win with 49-percent to Trudy Busch Valentine’s 38 percent if the election was held today.

10-percent of respondents were undecided.

The Hill adds that when those surveyed were asked whom they expected to win regardless of whom they supported, 67 percent believed Schmitt would prevail in the race over 34 percent who said the same for Busch Valentine.
