The City of Warsaw has lost one of its finest. According to reports, Dr. James Spring, a longtime alderman with the city and an area dentist, died on Monday evening at his home. Spring was 65 years old at the time of his death when his body was discovered by his wife Paula. Dr. Spring was the Aldermen in Ward 3 for Warsaw and was very active in civic organizations as well as community events. Prior to becoming an Alderman, Spring had been practicing in his Dentist office since 1977. Mayor Eddie Simmons says that quote “Jim was very committed to his service to the city and served his community with dedication.” Spring was Aldermen between 1997 and 2000 then was re-elected again in 2004 and has remained there since. He was also the Mayor of the city for a short time. A Memorial service will be held on March 14th at 11am at the United Methodist Church.
