K-R-M-S (93-Five Rocks) News has learned that two requests for investigations into alleged wrongdoing in Camden County government are at this time stalled. We spoke with Sergeant Shawn Griggs with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Drug and Crime Control unit. Griggs did confirm that they received a request for a preliminary inquiry of alleged issues with the county. Following the investigation, information was sent back to the Camden County Prosecutor. That information was forwarded to the Moniteau County Prosecutor for consideration. So far, Griggs says the request has not been approved for further investigation. Griggs would not comment further on what or who the first investigation involved. They recently received a second letter from Camden County requesting another preliminary investigation. That is as far as the second request has gone to this point. Earlier this year, Camden County Presiding Commissioner Greg Hasty informed us of some alleged wrongdoing dealing with threats made by Second District Camden County Commissioner Cliff Luber, going as far as releasing to us reports and audio of prior meetings with the Camden County Commission.
